Hey, I'm Austin!

I’m a Product Designer based in San Francisco, CA. I utilize my interest in learning about the nuances of human behavior to create meaningful solutions and designs.

Prior to Product Design, I was studying and researching Cognitive Science, where I learned about memory, perception, and illusions to name a few topics. I applied these studies in a research internship, where I researched the application of neuroscience technology in typical everyday office work. After completing this internship, I graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.S. in Cognitive Science, specializing in Human Computer Interaction.

I’ve been lucky enough to work as a Senior Product Designer at multiple start-ups for the past 5 years, where I gather problems from multitudes of different users to create novel solutions.

Outside of design, you can find me attempting to boulder V8s, exploring the great outdoors, and doing my best impression of a local food critic 🥘.
